Bloom's Taxonomy

"Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand." This relates to Bloom's Taxonomy because knowledge is gained through memorization and then when students believes that they no longer need the knowledge anymore, such as after they take the test, they forget it. Through guided discovery and hands-on activities, students are more apt to remember what they did. Yet if the activity can be related to the students and if they can apply the activity to other situations then they will understand it. Teachers want to make students remember what we teach them forever because they found the activity to be worth remembering and knowing.
